Sarah Booker is an award winning photographer specialising in portraiture and reportage. She won the title of 'Black and White Portrait Photographer of the Year' awarded by Hasselblad, Ilford, and Professional Photographer. Her work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery as a winner in the 'John Kobal Portrait Award'. As a runner up in the Fuji 'New Approach To Portraiture Award', her photographs have been published widely in the photographic press. Sarah's strong documentary style continues to attract a diverse client base. She utilises her talent and skills to meet the different challenges presented by the private and public sectors. Her photographs carry with them a unique human quality and edge which often originates from a classic reportage approach to her work. Believing that a face, a portrait, humanises issues, her images have been produced for publication as well as for the walls of galleries, offices, bars, clubs and homes. One of her greatest gifts is her ability to communicate her passion for photography and to generate an enthusiasm for it amongst those she works with. It is this passion that has led to a growing number of private commissions and backing for personal projects. Creative with technical skills and working with top professionals in the photographic community, Sarah's photos are shot and produced to the very highest standard. She is happy to undertake commissions for individuals, private, corporate and voluntary sector organisations. Some of her work is for sale as limited edition prints. |
